                         Rule-11

If a principal verb is used after   -about, after, at ,before, for, from, in ,on , to - that verb must be in verb +ing form

Example:.  you should have asked me before cut the tree

-you should have asked me before cutting the tree


                         Rule-12

Two conjunctions should not be used in the same sentence

Example:.  Although she is tired, but still she went on working

-Although she is tired , she still going on working

                          Rule-13

Both should be followed by and . It should be used in positive sense. Neither... nor should be used in negative


Example:  Both Ram and Shyam did not passed the exam

-Neither Ram nor Shyam passed the exam

                            Rule-14

Either should be followed by ' or ' and Neither should be followed by ' nor'

Example:  She neither went to school or went to coaching centre

She neither went to school nor going to coaching centre

                           Rule-15

No sooner should be followed by "than" not by" but " or" then"

Example : No sooner had I close my eyes then I fell asleep

-No sooner had I close my eyes than I fell asleep


                         Rule-16

'Hardly' and 'Scarcely' should be followed by 'when ' and ' before'

Example:  Hardly I reached the station than the train left

- Hardly I reached the station when the train left


                           Rule-17

After Preposition pronoun will be in objective case

Example:  I don't depend on he
- I don't depend on him


                        Rule-18

The Prepositions used after two words must be made clear if they are connected by  "and" or "or"

Example: RAM is conscious and engaged in his work

- RAM is conscious of and engaged in his work
